COMMITTEE MEMBERS

The committee at York Squash Club work on a voluntary basis to ensure the smooth running of the Club. We aim to encourage players of all ages and standards to get involved in playing squash and to ensure the Club is a friendly and inviting environment for all members. We meet regularly to organise refurbishment and renovation schedules, arrange tournaments, coordinate teams playing in the York and District League, monitor coaching timetables, oversee training for junior members and organise social events.

If you’d like to get involved please speak to a member of the committee. We are always keen to welcome new faces and we currently have a vacancy for a Development Officer to manage external and internal PR, develop club activities and social programmes to increase membership numbers and to position our club as the best in the York and District. If you’d like to devote some time to York Squash Club but are unable to commit to a full role there is the possibility of working with one of our current members and supporting them in their role.

Our committee of volunteers is under strength in the vital role of a Development Officer, so please consider volunteering your skillset to help the club.
